Case Study - Renaissance Midtown Hotel

New York City’s First “Living Building” Blends Chic Design with Innovative Technology

Overview

The Renaissance Midtown Hotel in New York City is unlike any hotel. This digitally enhanced structure allows guests to have a truly unique experience. The interactive hotel visually changes with the seasons and offers the largest rooftop deck in the city, which transforms every hour. To guarantee an extraordinary stay, the hotel knew it needed to provide the best cellular experience for its guests. To ensure this goal, system integrator, Cell Signal Solutions, partnered with JMA Wireless to deploy the DAS (distributed antenna system).

Based on this project I do not think Cell Signal Solutions need to consider other DAS equipment manufacturers going forward. The commissioning process was so simple. The customer service we received from JMA Wireless was exceptional. Plus the total cost of ownership is much better than competitive offerings.

Dan Hoffman, President Cell Signal Solutions

When the game changes, our DAS doesn’t have to.

Delivering seamless mobility without the lock-in, while making in-building coverage more flexible, sustainable and economical for greater lifetime value.
